Gina Weinkauff

Gina Weinkauff is a German literary scholar specializing in literary studies and literature education. After receiving her doctorate in 1991, she worked in university teaching and research projects from 1995 onward. She spent more than 20 years as a research associate at Heidelberg University of Education. She also held visiting and acting professorships at the universities of Vienna and Leipzig and at Freie Universität Berlin. Her research focuses include literature of the early twentieth century, especially children’s and young adult literature, including its intercultural and intermedial dimensions.
