Gina Greifenstein

Gina Greifenstein was born in the Franconian region of Germany and grew up in Würzburg. After training as a homemaker, she published cookbooks and baking books as well as novels and crime fiction. Her best-known cookbooks include “1 Teig – 50 Kuchen,” “1 Teig – 50 Torten,” and “Pfälzer Tapas.” As a crime writer, she created the Palatinate crime series featuring investigator Paula Stern. Her novel “Der Traummann auf der Bettkante” was nominated for the DELIA Literature Prize in 2008. Greifenstein also published short crime stories and edited the anthology “Tödlicher Glühwein. 21 Weihnachtskrimis aus der Pfalz.”
