Gideon Stiening

Dr Gideon Stiening is a German literary scholar and Privatdozent at the Institute of German Philology at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. His academic fields include literature from the seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries, contemporary literature, and the anthropology, psychology, and theories of knowledge of the early modern period. Further areas of research include the philosophy of law from the sixteenth to the nineteenth centuries, aesthetics, and the history of science in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
