Gerd Lehmkuhl

Gerd Lehmkuhl is a physician, diplomate in psychology and psychoanalyst. From 1988 to 2014, he was a professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Cologne and headed its Clinic and Polyclinic of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. From 1990 to 2013, he served as the responsible editor of the Zeitschrift für Individualpsychologie and was also co-editor of the Zeitschrift für Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrie und Psychotherapie from 1989 to 2013. From 1989 to 1999, he chaired the Alfred Adler Institute Aachen-Cologne. His research interests included psychological abnormalities associated with sleep disorders.
