George Plimpton (1927–2003) was an American author and journalist who also supported emerging writers. From 1953 until his death, he edited the literary magazine The Paris Review. His books include Paper Lion, Out of My League, The Bogey Man, and American Journey: The Times of Robert F. Kennedy.
