George Pelecanos

George Pelecanos, born in 1957 in Washington, D.C., to Greek immigrants, worked as a crime writer, journalist, and screenwriter. He became known in part for his work on the HBO series The Wire and The Deuce. His novels Hard Revolution and Das dunkle Herz der Stadt were published by ars vivendi.
