Georg Kohler

Georg Kohler (born 1945) is a Swiss philosopher and publicist. He studied philosophy and law in Zurich and Basel and completed his habilitation in philosophy. After teaching at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, he was appointed to the University of Zurich in 1994, where he taught until 2010 as professor of philosophy, with a focus on political philosophy. His publications include “Handeln und Rechtfertigen” (1988), “Über das Böse, das Glück und andere Rätsel” (2005), and “Bürgertugend und Willensnation” (2010).
