Gaspard Koenig

Gaspard Koenig (born 1982) is a French philosopher and author of essays and novels. In 2013, he founded the Génération Libre think tank and worked with the magazine Le Point on reportage projects. A journey around the world exploring the state of artificial intelligence inspired his book “Das Ende des Individuums. Reise eines Philosophen in die Welt der Künstlichen Intelligenz” (2021). A project to travel on horseback through France in the footsteps of Montaigne led him into politics. His novel “Humus” was a finalist for the 2023 Prix Goncourt and received several awards, including the Prix Interallié and the Prix Jean Giono.
