Galit Dahan Carlibach was born in 1981 and grew up in Sderot, Ashdod, and Jerusalem. She is the author of several novels and novellas. Her essays, poetry, and short stories have appeared in Israeli newspapers and international magazines, including Haaretz, Maariv, Tablet, and Lilith. Her literary work has received several awards and fellowships, most recently the 2025 ACUM Award for a work in progress.
