Gabrielle Schaad

Gabrielle Schaad is an art historian. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of History and Theory of Architecture, Art and Design at the Technical University of Munich, and as a lecturer and curator at Zurich University of the Arts. Her publications address art and design since the 1960s, particularly in relation to architecture and urbanism, as well as the spatialization of power and gender relations. She received research fellowships from the Swiss National Science Foundation, MEXT Japan (2013–2015), and Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart. Her publications include the monograph “Shizuko Yoshikawa” (2018) and “Care:gta papers 7” (2022), which she co-edited with Torsten Lange).
