Gabrielle Filteau-Chiba is an author, translator, and illustrator. She advocates for the protection of Québec’s wilderness. Her debut novel, *Until the River Thaws: A Journal of the Wild*, was translated into numerous languages and nominated for prizes in Canada and France.
