Camilla Renschke was born in Cologne in 1980. She had her first stage experiences at the Schauspielhaus Bochum at the age of eight. She became widely known for playing Helen Reinders, the daughter of Bremen “Tatort” commissioner Inga Lürsen, a role she took on in 1997. Alongside work in film, television, and theatre, Renschke worked as an audiobook and audio drama narrator. For the Deutscher Audio Verlag, she recorded, among other titles, Irmgard Keun’s “Gilgi – eine von uns,” for which she received the German Audiobook Award for Best Performer in 2020.
