Gabriele Reuter

Gabriele Reuter (1859–1941) was a German writer. She became widely known through her novel *Aus guter Familie* (1895), which brought her considerable success and public attention. Reuter wrote realistic and socially critical novels and is regarded as an important representative of women’s literature in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
