Gabriela Adamesteanu

Gabriela Adameșteanu (born 1942) is a Romanian writer and journalist. She was active as a civil rights advocate and served as president of Romanian PEN. Alongside Norman Manea and Mircea Cărtărescu, she is considered one of the important voices of 20th-century Romanian literature.
