Friederike Hofert

Friederike Hofert studied literary studies and literary translation in Saarbrücken, Cali, and Düsseldorf. Her research has focused on postcolonial perspectives on translation processes and on the relationship between power and literary contact. As a translator, she works from English and Spanish; authors she has translated include NoViolet Bulawayo, Tina Makereti, and Fausto Alzati Fernández.
