Frieder Butzmann

Frieder Butzmann was born in Konstanz on Lake Constance in 1954. From the late 1960s onward, he explored the boundaries of music. His early work includes the LP “Wunderschöne Rückkoppelungen,” featuring recordings from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Butzmann released numerous recordings and created more than 30 radio plays that were broadcast by various stations. In 2024, his Klingon-language opera “juHrop” was released as a double LP. He also made short films; a selection was shown in Berlin in 2023 as part of the retrospective “Nebelkerzen in Dauerschleife.”
