Franziska Martinet holds a degree in education. From 2009 to 2020, she worked as a research associate at the Research Group for Human Behavioral Biology (FVM) in Kandern. There, she contributed to research projects on non-family childcare, child development, the assessment of risks to child welfare, and the evaluation and quality development of childcare facilities. Her research interests also included the quality of nurseries, kindergartens and childminding services, ADHD, and challenging behavior in childhood. From April 2020, she worked as an editor at Herder Verlag.
