Frank Patalong

Frank Patalong (born 1963) studied journalism, English and politics in Münster and Bochum. He began his journalistic career as a freelance contributor to radio and newspapers. From 1995, he worked for the Rommerskirchen media trade publisher, and from 1999 to 2011 he headed the Netzwelt section of SPIEGEL ONLINE. Patalong has published several books, including works on the history of technology and science, and later worked as an editor for SPIEGEL Geschichte.
