Frank Neugebauer

Frank Neugebauer holds a degree in engineering (Dipl.-Ing. (FH)) and worked for more than 25 years as an officer in the German Federal Armed Forces, specializing in IT and cybersecurity. Among other positions, he served as an IT security officer for various domestic and international units, as a systems engineer at a NATO headquarters, and as the head of an incident response team. As a member of the German Armed Forces Computer Emergency Response Team, he contributed to vulnerability analyses of numerous military networks and later worked as an incident handler at the Bundeswehr Cybersecurity Centre. He retired from military service at the end of 2017. Neugebauer has published specialist articles and books on cybersecurity.
