Francesca Sanna

Francesca Sanna was born in Sardinia in 1991. She studied illustration in Cagliari and completed a master’s degree in illustration and design at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. In 2016, she received a Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators in New York for her master’s project. Her picture-book debut, Die Flucht, was nominated for the German Children’s and Young Adult Literature Prize in 2017. Sanna works as an illustrator.
