Francesca Falk

Francesca Falk (born 1977) is a historian. She studied history and political theory in Basel, Freiburg im Breisgau, Geneva and Zurich, and earned her doctorate at the University of Basel. She has conducted research at institutions including the University of California, Berkeley, and Sapienza Università di Roma, and has taught or carried out research at universities in Switzerland and abroad. Her areas of interest include migration history, postcolonial studies, gender history, protest movements, political theory, and visual and oral history. Her publications and teaching have received several awards.
