felix mitterer

Felix Mitterer (born 1948 in Tyrol) is an Austrian writer, playwright, screenwriter and actor. After being adopted by a farm laboring couple, he grew up in Kitzbühel and Kirchberg and attended a teacher-training college in Innsbruck from 1962 to 1966. He subsequently worked as a freelance author. His best-known plays include “Kein Platz für Idioten” and “Sibirien”; as a screenwriter, he became known in particular for the television miniseries “Die Piefke-Saga” and “Verkaufte Heimat.” His children’s book “Superhenne Hanna” was published in 1977.
