Fabienne Forster

Fabienne Forster, M.A., studied German language and literature and philosophy at the University of Bern, as well as the history and philosophy of knowledge at ETH Zurich. In 2018, she completed a thesis on the development of the concept of reality in the work of Charles Sanders Peirce, a founder of pragmatism. She has worked in research policy, including on a mandate for the Swiss co-presidency of the European Space Agency at the Swiss Space Office in Bern. Most recently, she worked in the philosophy program at Schwabe, a publisher specializing in the humanities and cultural studies. Her research areas include classical pragmatism, particularly Peirce, and the history of philosophy and biology in the nineteenth century.
