Fabian Reicher

Fabian Reicher (born 1987) worked for six years as a street worker in Vienna and as a social worker in extremism counseling, particularly in disengagement and deradicalization work. He worked as a youth social worker and lecturer and taught at universities in Austria. Reicher co-founded several digital streetwork and educational projects, including “Cop und Che,” “Jamal al-Khatib – Mein Weg,” and “#WirAlleSindWien.” His publications include the nonfiction book “Die Wütenden. Warum wir im Umgang mit dschihadistischem Terror radikal umdenken müssen” (“The Angry Ones: Why We Need to Rethink Our Approach to Jihadist Terror”).
