Eva Garg trained at the Schauspielschule Bochum and subsequently worked for several years at various theaters. From 1969 onward, she worked as a freelance actress, voice performer for radio plays and readings, and dubbing artist. She also appeared in film and television. For the production “Briefwechsel,” she read letters from Gisèle Celan-Lestrange to her husband, Paul Celan; she also contributed to the audiobook edition of Christa Wolf’s “What Remains” as a narrator.
