Esra Ozyurek

Esra Özyürek studied political science and sociology at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul and earned a doctorate in anthropology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her academic career includes the Sultan-Qaboos Professorship of Abrahamic Faiths and Shared Values at the University of Cambridge. She is the author of *Deutsche Muslime – muslimische Deutsche: Begegnungen mit Konvertiten zum Islam*.
