Ernst Berger

Ernst Berger was born in Vienna in 1946 and studied at the University of Vienna, where he received his medical doctorate in 1970. He worked as a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry, as a psychotherapist, and as a researcher of human development and biography. In 1982, he obtained his habilitation in neurology and psychiatry of childhood and adolescence; in 1999, he was awarded the title of associate university professor. He also taught regularly at the Medical University of Vienna.
