Erik Riedel

Erik Riedel, born in 1965 in Speyer, worked as a curator of visual art at the Jewish Museum Frankfurt, where he was responsible for Ludwig Meidner’s artistic estate at the Ludwig Meidner Archive. He curated numerous exhibitions on 19th- and 20th-century art, including exhibitions devoted to Moritz Daniel Oppenheim, Ludwig and Else Meidner, and Felix Nussbaum. In 2013, he co-published the catalogue raisonné of Ludwig Meidner’s sketchbooks with Gerd Presler.
