Erich Vad

Dr. Erich Vad is a retired brigadier general of the German Bundeswehr. From 2006 to 2013, he served as a group head in the Federal Chancellery, secretary of the Federal Security Council, and military policy adviser to then Chancellor Angela Merkel. He also worked as a management consultant, author, and university lecturer. Among his publications is the book “Ernstfall für Deutschland. Ein Handbuch gegen den Krieg.”
