Enrico Marini (born 1969) studied graphic arts at the School of Art in Basel. He began his career in 1987 by winning a comics competition in Sierre. In France, he first published a series in collaboration with Thierry Smolderen; in 1992, the two created the six-part series “Gipsy”. Marini later worked with Jean Dufaux and Stephen Desberg, with whom he developed the swashbuckling series “The Scorpion”. As both writer and artist, he also created the series “The Eagles of Rome” and “Batman: The Dark Prince” for DC Comics.
