Emma Carroll

Emma Carroll worked as an English teacher for twenty years before a life-changing cancer diagnosis prompted her to pursue writing. She became an award-winning author of historical novels. Her works include *Secrets of a Sun King*, *Letters from the Lighthouse*, *The Week at World’s End* and *A Night at the Frost Fair*. The awards attributed to her include the Branford Boase Award, the CILIP Carnegie Medal, the Young Quills Award and the Waterstones Book Prize.
