Emiel de Wild, born in 1978, studied playwriting at the HKU University of the Arts in Utrecht and drama education at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem. He subsequently wrote plays and screenplays. In 2013, he made his debut as a children’s and young adult author with “Brudergeheimnis.” The book earned him the Zilveren Griffel and the Debut Prize of the Youth Jury in the Netherlands.
