Elliot Rappaport

Elliot Rappaport studied geoscience with a focus on meteorology. For more than two decades, he worked as a captain and professor of nautical science at the Sea Education Association in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, which offers undergraduate ocean studies aboard sailing vessels. He also taught maritime transportation at Maine Maritime Academy, preparing cadets for careers at sea.
