Elisabeth Schwachulla

Elisabeth Schwachulla was born in Munich in 1993 and received a master’s degree in German literary studies from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 2018. That same year, she began performing at poetry slams in Germany. She worked as an author, slam poet, moderator and performance artist, writing classical poetry, slam texts, prose, rap and commissioned texts. As a recovering alcoholic, she shared her experiences of addiction and her path to sobriety in readings and workshops focused on addiction prevention.
