Elisabeth Lukas (born 1942 in Vienna) is an Austrian clinical psychologist and licensed psychotherapist. A student of Viktor E. Frankl, she specialized in the practical application of logotherapy and further developed its methods. From 1986 to 2003, she headed the South German Institute for Logotherapy in Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich. She subsequently worked as a university lecturer and as a training therapist and supervisor in logotherapy education. Her books have been translated into numerous languages. Her work received, among other distinctions, the Medal of Honor of Santa Clara University and the Grand Prize of the Viktor Frankl Fund of the City of Vienna; in 2014, Moscow University awarded her an honorary professorship.
