Ela Wildberger (born 1964) studied theatre studies, philosophy, journalism and education in Vienna. In 2018/19, she completed training as a cultural mediator. She worked in children’s and young adult literature for more than two decades as an editor, publisher, reviewer and proofreader. She also contributed to the specialist journal 1001 Buch and worked as a freelance contributor for STUBE, the Centre for Research and Counselling in Children’s and Young Adult Literature.
