Eiko Honda is a Japanologist and Assistant Professor of Japan Studies at Aarhus University in Denmark. Her scholarly work focuses on previously overlooked paradigms developed by scientists and polymaths in the intellectual history of modern Japan. A particular area of interest is the Buddhist naturalist and polymath Minakata Kumagusu.
