Egill Bjarnason

Egill Bjarnason is an Icelandic journalist. He reported on Iceland for the Associated Press and worked as a writer for international media. Earlier in his career, he wrote for Icelandic readers about the rest of the world and published reportage and photographs from Afghanistan, Uganda, and West Africa. As a Fulbright scholar, he earned a master’s degree in social documentation from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
