Constantin Seibt

Constantin Seibt (born 1966 in Frankfurt am Main) is a Swiss journalist and author. He began writing professionally after a crime novel he had written with a friend failed to become a bestseller, prompting newspapers to offer him writing assignments. He first wrote columns for various newspapers and magazines and, from 1997, worked as an editor at the weekly newspaper WOZ, including in its politics and business sections. From 2006, he worked as a reporter for the Tages-Anzeiger, focusing particularly on the area between business and politics. He was named Journalist of the Year in 2007 for a series on the Swissair trial and Columnist of the Year in 2013. In 2017, he co-founded the online magazine Republik.
