Edmund de Waal

Edmund de Waal was born in Nottingham, England, in 1964 and studied in Cambridge. From 2004 to 2011, he was Professor of Ceramics at the University of Westminster. His work was shown, among other venues, at the Victoria and Albert Museum and Tate Britain. He became known as an author for The Hare with Amber Eyes: A Hidden Inheritance (2011), followed by The White Road: Journey into an Obsession (2016) and Camondo: A Family History in Letters (2021).
