Dror Mishani, born in 1975 in Holon near Tel Aviv, is an Israeli writer and literary scholar specializing in the history of crime fiction. He is best known for his crime series featuring Inspector Avi Avraham; the novels have been translated into more than twenty languages and adapted for film and television several times. His novel Three received the Prix Mystère de la Critique. In 2024, Mishani was appointed a Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
