Doris Lecher

Doris Lecher, born in Zurich in 1962, grew up on Lake Zurich. She studied illustration at Parsons School of Design in New York and wrote and illustrated numerous picture books and educational materials. In 1997, she received the Swiss Picture Book Award for her picture book “Ich will Wurst”. In 2023, she was nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award.
