Doris Eisenburger

Doris Eisenburger studied communication design at a college in Munich and worked as an illustrator and author of children’s books. She illustrated more than 20 musical picture books, including “The Magic Flute,” “The Moldau,” “Swan Lake,” and “The Bremen Town Musicians.” Several of these works received awards or distinctions: “The Moldau” won the Lesepeter nonfiction book prize in 2010, while “The Bremen Town Musicians” and “Swan Lake” received recommendations or distinctions from the Leopold media prize. For “The Pecorinos / A Mouse Musical Mystery,” she shared the 2011/2012 Poldi special award from the children’s jury with the other contributors.
