Davide Cali

Davide Calì, born in Switzerland in 1972, began his career as a comic artist and illustrator for Italian magazines, including the comic magazine “linus.” Around 2000, he turned to children’s books, initially working as both author and illustrator before concentrating on writing. His work includes numerous picture books, children’s and young adult books, comics, and graphic novels, which have been translated into many languages. In 2025, he received the Premio Andersen for Best Author, one of Italy’s most important awards for children’s and young adult literature.
