David Yaffe

David Yaffe, born in 1973 in Dallas, Texas, is an American author and music critic. He was a professor of humanities at Syracuse University and received the Roger Shattuck Prize for Criticism in 2012. His books include “Bob Dylan: Like a Complete Unknown” and “Fascinating Rhythm.” His writing has appeared in publications including Harper’s Magazine, The New York Times, The Village Voice, and The Nation.
