David Wengrow

David Wengrow (born 25 July 1972) is an archaeologist and anthropologist. He studied in Oxford and taught at the Chair of Comparative Archaeology at the University of London. Wengrow led research projects in Africa and the Middle East and made several research visits to Germany, including to the University of Freiburg. In 2023, he held the Albertus Magnus Professorship in Cologne.
