David Szalay

David Szalay was born in Montreal, Canada, in 1974 and grew up in London. He studied at the University of Oxford and is the author of several novels. His fourth novel, What a Man Is, was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2016. His works published in German include Turbulenzen and Was nicht gesagt werden kann. His work has been translated into more than 20 languages.
