David Hewson

David Hewson was born in Yorkshire in 1953. He left school at the age of 17 and subsequently worked as a reporter for publications including The Times, The Sunday Times and The Independent. He later wrote crime novels, including the series featuring Roman detective Nic Costa. He also wrote a novelisation of the Danish television series The Killing. Twelve of his novels are set in Italy.
