David Gilman

David Gilman grew up in Liverpool and, before becoming a full-time writer, worked as a firefighter, lumberjack, advertising photographer, publishing marketing manager and paratrooper in the British Army. He has devoted himself to writing since 1986. His work includes radio and television scripts as well as children’s and young adult novels, which have been sold in 15 countries. In German-speaking countries, he is best known for the historical series “Master of War,” about the swordsman Thomas Blackstone during the Hundred Years’ War.
