David E Wellbery

David E. Wellbery (born 1947) is a scholar of German literature and was a professor of German literature at the University of Chicago. His publications include “Goethes Pandora. Dramatisierung einer Urgeschichte der Moderne” (2017) and “Seiltänzer des Paradoxalen” (2006). He was also a co-editor of “Eine neue Geschichte der deutschen Literatur” (2007) and “Goethes Spätwerk” (2020).
